Here's a sampling of some projects we've worked on over the past few years.
Pinedale, Wyoming
Since 2013 we have been measuring sound levels at Greater Sage-grouse leks in and around the Pinedale Anticline Project Area. We have worked to establish standardized acoustic measurement protocols for use by agency and industry personnel conducting Greater Sage-grouse studies.
Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve
We have over 45 years experience conducting raptor surveys in Alaska and in the Lower 48 as agency biologists and later as contractors working for public lands agencies.
Grand Canyon National Park
We have conducted soundscape studies in front-country and back-country areas of Grand Canyon National Park for use in Air Tour Management planning and future park planning projects.
Southeast Utah Group National Parks
We have conducted soundscape studies in Arches, Canyonlands, Natural Bridges, and Hovenweep for use in Air Tour Management planning and future park planning projects.
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks
We have conducted soundscape studies in Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP for Winter Use Planning and future park planning projects.
Rainbow Bridge National Monument and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area
We have conducted soundscape studies at Rainbow Bridge National Monument and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for use in current and future planning projects for the monument, recreation area, and Cal Black Memorial Airport.
North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area, TN
We have conducted soundscape studies relative to the impacts of surface coal mining projects near state wildlife management areas and Big South Fork River and Recreation Area in Tennessee.
